I was in the Private part of the hospital and it was well worth the money, even my mother was treated well. The staff were lovely even down to the porter taking me to theatre.

The private ward at the Royal Derby is impressive. My room was more of a suite, with a dining area, sitting area, sleeping area including wardrobes and drawers, and bedside table. Also a writing desk and chair. Large ensuite, all clean and well facilitated. Nursing team proficient and consistent, and clearly committed to their duties. Warm and kind

Efficient,knowledgeable nurses well everyone actually, nothing was too much trouble. All with a genuine smile. Awesome ladies in a spotless unit who care what more could you ask for?

My experience of RDH has been great, the staff were friendly, kind and attentive throughout my stay. The hospital itself was clean and seemed well equipped, the only problem I have had at all is on some days trying to get into appointments can be difficult due to the length of time it can take to park on site.
I've found nothing at all to consider at fault with RDH and would recommend it, and its staff, to anyone who may be in need of its care.

The nurses that looked after me during my stay were wonderful, they were professional polite and very careing.
